Well, not to the bottle just yet. I'm not quite that bad at the moment. I was watching Fellowship of the Ring earlier (extended edition, of course!) and these song lyrics popped into my head. But it's been a heck of a week. Lectures, work, eat, sleep, lectures, work, eat, sleep, lectures, work, eat, sleep etc. I had two deadlines last week - teh second of which was a 3000 word report on a marine biology field trip. I was up until 4am at the Uni finishing it off, then I had to hand it in the next morning by 9am. That wasn't fun. Plus I'm doing a trial run at the animalarium in Borth (a small zoo) so that's taking up some of my time. No more procrastinating for me! It's all work and not much play.
Still, Waters of Mars last week was AMAZING!! Reading some reviews I was half expecting to see a dark side of the Doctor we haven't encountered before, but I was never expecting to hate him! And I did, I HATED him by the end of the episode. Not so much his actions - he's always tried to save people, whatever the cost. But his words - for once, actions DON'T speak louder than words. He became so arrogant and so un-Doctorish, it was scary! Especially when he referred to humans as "little people", saying he's the "Time Lord victorious" and "the laws of time are mine and they will obey me" - bloody hell! Scary!
But at the same time brilliant! I've rewatched it and I'm finding myself strangely attracted to this new Doctor. So dark and mysterious! *shivers* - Well, maybe not attracted to teh Doctor but definitely attracted to David's acting ability. Fucking hell that boy's a good actor, he just keeps getting better and better. And apparently the best is yet to come! I'm so incredibly excited about the End of Time (DT's final two episodes) and to see how this Doctor's story comes to an end and what David brings to the character - I don't care any more that David's leaving! Bring on Christmas and bring on 2010! Yey for David and Matt!

Excuse me, have you seen a blowfish driving a sports car?

If I forgot to say so in the above comment, I absolutely adore your art. If I did say so, let me take this opportunity to reiterate: I LOVE YOUR ART.

"He's like fire, and ice, and rage. He's like the night, and a storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And, he's wonderful."

Call me what instrument you will, though you can fret me, you cannot play upon me.
...That you have but slumbered here While these visions did appear. And this weak and idle theme, No more yeilding but a dream.

Am I retarded or am I just overjoyed?
I could calculate your chances of survival, but you wouldn't like it
